A man with Parkinson's disease who went missing in the Glenn Innes area has been found and is safe.
He was found in West Tamaki Rd at about 10.30am today.
A ground and air search was undertaken in Auckland this morning for the missing Parkinson's disease sufferer who hadn't been seen since last night.
Police were alerted to the 69-year-old man's disappearance by relatives at about 6am today.
There were concerns for the man - who had been missing from his home in Overlea Rd, Glen Innes, possibly since last night when he was last seen - as he suffers from Parkinson's and confusion.
Police ground patrols and the Eagle helicopter searched in the Glen Innes area this morning and the Auckland Police Search and Rescue squad had also been notified.
