The game against the French was marvellous! The wife and I were out for brunch and everywhere around us we saw endless smiles on Kiwi faces. Rugby really does bring people together here. Go the ABs!
I was disappointed with the Albany Mall customer service desk on Monday. My son asked for a wheelchair as I was having difficulty walking and was in some distress. The response was "I'm counting a large amount of money right now - come back in 10 minutes".
Thank you to the kind person who handed in my bag to the Smith & Caughey's cafeteria staff. What wonderful, honest people there are in NZ.
Even though the motorway is not busy in the mornings and traffic flow is great, the ramp signal on the northbound East Tamaki/Papatoetoe on-ramp makes the traffic back up till East Tamaki Rd. If the motorway is not chocker then why hold up so much traffic?
To the driver who knocked me off my bike on Shirley Rd, Papatoetoe, on Friday morning: I hope the guilt for your actions has been eating you up. Huge thanks to the drivers who were following, who had the courtesy to help move me to the side of the road and check I was okay.
To all who slow down before a speed camera and then speed up again after passing it: another camera may be around the corner.
