A man has been trapped under a cherry picker at an Auckland building site, but has since been freed.
The fire service were called to the scene of the Countdown Cider Building development, on the corner of Pollen St and Williamson Ave in Ponsonby at about 10:35am.
A spokesman for the fire service said the man was only lightly trapped under a "heavy duty cherry picker" and was freed shortly after.
A spokeswoman for St John's said the man had been transported to Auckland Hospital in a moderate condition.
In August, a worker on the site was seriously injured when he fell about five storeys down a lift shaft.
