A fire which tore through a house in the Auckland suburb of Mt Roskill early this morning is being treated as suspicious.
Fire Service spokesman Jaron Phillips said crews were called out to the blaze at 1.40am and found the Richardson Road house fully ablaze.
He said two crews quickly had the fire under control and there were no reports of injuries.
Mr Phillips said the fire was being treated as suspicious and fire safety will be investigating the scene this morning.
A scene guard was placed at the site overnight.
