Joanna Clare Didham, 35, died when the CTV building, where she had worked for the past 13 years, collapsed in the earthquake.
Shortly after the quake, a friend described Joanna as an elegant woman, who was dedicated to her job as a production manager for CTV.
Mother to Madison and Jessica, Joanna worked on Shopping with Jo, which later changed its name to Let's go Shopping.
"She was just lovely," her friend said.
"I couldn't believe how well she juggled family and work."
Joanna's husband, Michael Didham, was struggling to cope with what had happened, but was full of praise for the emergency service workers.
"They've been fantastic and they've done everything I could expect them to do," he said.
Police confirmed Joanna's death on March 7, 2011.
