Christchurch thieves have been using cat-flaps to enter homes.
Four houses in Harewood and Parklands were burgled on Monday night, and in each case the thief used a cat-flap to gain access.
The police say that in another two burglaries, where the point of entry is unknown, the thieves may also have got in through cat-flaps.
