A horror road accident between a campervan and a group of motorbikes in South Canterbury at the weekend has claimed a fourth life, that of 11-year-old Olivia MacDonald.
The group and the campervan collided just after midday on Sunday on State Highway 79, between Geraldine and Fairlie. Three people died, including Olivia's father.
Olivia died yesterday afternoon at Christchurch Hospital. Her death lifted the weekend road toll to six.
