The staff of a North Shore bar are frightened and on edge after a masked man with a gun threatened them on Sunday night.
Police want information from the public after the masked man robbed the Postman's Leg bar about 9pm.
The man wore a full-face white mask, a distinctive, heavy, mustard-colour coat with a brown collar, dark pants and white shoes.
Detective Sergeant Ross Clapp said the man threatened staff with a gun, before fleeing with cash.
A second person was waiting in the carpark in a stolen silver Mazda Atenza station wagon, which fled as soon as the masked man returned with the money.
The car was stolen from Archers Rd about 6.30pm the same day, and was found just after 9pm in Chequers Ave, Glenfield.
Clapp said police wanted to hear from anyone who saw the stolen vehicle in Glenfield.
"Someone will know who these men are and may recognise their clothing or
the mask.
"This is a despicable act that has left staff frightened and on edge."
Information provided through Crimestoppers will get a reward, as part of the stolen goods campaign for information that leads to successful prosecution of offenders who committed aggravated robbery.
Anyone with information should contact Clapp on 021 191 6115 or the Waitemata Crime Car on (09) 477 5261.
