A man is recovering in hospital and another is due to appear in court after a stabbing in Lower Hutt last night.
Police said the man was stabbed in the neck at a Lower Hutt pizza shop on Queens Road around 9pm yesterday.
He was taken to Wellington Hospital where he had surgery and was now in a stable condition.
A 41-year-old Lower Hutt man was arrested after being tracked by police dogs after the incident.

He is due to appear in Hutt Valley District Court today.
Police said it did not appear the victim and alleged attacker were previously known to each other.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
