Air New Zealand's latest Hobbit themed aircraft touched down in Los Angeles this morning to great anticipation and much fanfare. The 777-300 featuring a 54-metre Smaug the dragon emblazoned across both sides arrived earlier today ahead of the premiere this evening of the second instalment of The Hobbit trilogy - The Desolation of Smaug.
