A 60-year-old farmer was airlifted to Waikato Hospital this morning with multiple injuries after his quad-bike rolled about 150m down an embankment on a farm in the King Country township of Te Kuiti .
A Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance spokesman said the man was knocked out for about an hour.
When he regained consciousness, he somehow managed to signal a passing vehicle driver who raised the alarm.
