Police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting of a Headhunters gang member in Te Atatu last month.
The 46-year-old was charged with recklessly discharging a pistol in a manner likely to endanger the safety of others.
The charge relates to an incident in Roberts Rd two weeks ago in which Headhunters member Graham Te Awa was shot in the abdomen with a large-calibre pistol, sparking an armed offenders squad callout.
