Act deputy leader John Boscawen will push contentious issues including the foreshore and seabed and the emissions trading scheme to try to win the seat of Tamaki in November's general election.
Mr Boscawen yesterday announced he would stand in the seat, where he lives. Tamaki is held by National's Allan Peachey with a 17,020 majority.
