New Zealand's most disgusting long drops, delightful dunnies and the people who use them are to feature in a new television documentary, and the makers are calling for people with interesting or unusual toilet stories to come forward.
"Is your toilet something to write home about? Is it fit for a king, rare, peculiar, or just plain kinky?" asked a recent press advertisement.
Executive producer Kathy Sunderland said the documentary makers were looking for "the most, and least, fabulous toilets" in New Zealand.
"People might think, how trivial, but toilets are actually an amazingly central part of our lives. If we can't find one, that can create a lot of stress."
The programme, being made by Auckland production company South Pacific Video, will screen on TVNZ early next year.
