There is no doubt those with full vision probably take their eyesight for granted. There are so many concepts that we probably just forget without even realising that we are lucky to have experienced. Tommy Edison who is blind from birth, explains this in a YouTube video. Completely visual, vast, intangible things like the horizon, the Grand Canon, or fog are totally lost on Tommy. Though he can explain these ideas verbally based on others' testimony, he still can’t wrap his head around them.
