Wicked: Jay Laga'aia - The Wizard

The Broadway musical 'Wicked' opens at Auckland's Civic Theatre. It sees the return of one of NZ's favourite sons, Jay Laga'aia, who is the 'Wizard' the only remaining reference to the original 'Wizard of Oz'. "Not only to be back home, but to bring a taonga, not only to the Auckland people but for the people of New Zealand and for me it's a huge, huge, honour" says Laga'aia.
