Actress Rosie Perez has blamed Angela Bassett's recent Whitney Houston biopic for putting the tragic soul singer's daughter in hospital.
Houston's only child from her marriage to Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia, last Saturday.
Family members have revealed the 21-year-old is fighting for her life.
Perez, who returned to TV magazine show The View this week, has now pointed the finger at the Lifetime TV movie, Whitney - which debuted to high ratings last month, claiming the project must have some part to play in Brown's health emergency.
"Just thought about the movie that came out, and this is no disrespect to Angela Bassett, because I love her, but this unauthorised bio of her mom must have killed her," she said.
"That was terrible phrasing," she added.

"It must have hurt her deeply to watch that. We forget these people are human beings. We put them into the tabloids, and we forget they're human beings."
Bassett's film, which focused on Houston's turbulent marriage and her drug use, featured Yaya DaCosta as the superstar. The Houston family publicly condemned the project.
