Rapper Kanye West bought his first mobile phone in 2011 so he could troll future wife Kim Kardashian about her then husband, Kris Humphries.
The 38-year-old made the shock admission during an appearance on his sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian's chat show, Kocktails with Khloe, laughing about his wife's infamous 72-day marriage to the basketball player.
"I got a phone because someone decided they wanted to marry Kris Humphries," West said.
"I started sending her pictures of, like, certain basketball players that used to be cool ... like THIS IS YOUR FUTURE."

Kardashian tied the knot with the former New Jersey Nets player in August 2011 after 10 months of dating, but then filed for divorce just 72 days later, citing irreconcilable differences.
Kim and Kanye began dating six months later in April, 2012, and they married in Italy in May 2014, less than a year after the reality TV star gave birth to their first child, daughter North West, in June, 2013.
The couple welcomed second child, son Saint, in December last year.
Kardashian, who appeared on the show alongside West and fellow guests John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, revealed she was no longer breastfeeding Saint because North West was jealous.
"She would cry so much and try to pull him off me. She was so jealous she took her little milk box and put it in my bra with the straw sticking out and she wanted to drink while he was drinking," Kardashian said.
North West has since had a change of heart.
"This week she goes to me, "Mommy I'm not mad anymore, you can feed baby brother I won't cry'," she said, "and I was like, "Look honey, the milk is all dried up'," Kardashian said.
