Johnny Depp's wife Amber Heard is eager to avoid returning to Australia.
Australia's Agriculture Minister, Barnaby Joyce, threatened to have the couple's two pet dogs put down when it was discovered the actors had ignored quarantine laws in April.
The stars were forced to have the Yorkshire Terriers, named Pistol and Boo, flown out of the country via private jet.
In a new interview, Heard said she and Depp would avoid travelling to Australian whenever possible.
"I have a feeling we're going to avoid the land Down Under from now on, just as much as we can, thanks to certain politicians there," she told Australia's Sunrise TV show.
"I guess everyone tries to go for their 15 minutes, including some government officials."
Depp was reportedly threatened with a 10-year jail sentence, with the authorities claiming the couple had broken the law by allegedly not declaring the dogs to custom officials.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Heard confirmed the dogs were okay,
saying: "They're good despite attempts by certain rogue thug Australian government officials, they are alright."
Joyce said at the time: "If we start letting movie stars even though they've been the 'Sexiest Man Alive' twice to come into our nation, then why don't we just break the laws for everybody.
"It's time that Pistol and Boo buggered off back to the United States."
The dogs were sent back to the United States hours before the deadline they were given by officials.
A statement read: "The dogs have been ordered into quarantine and the owners have been advised the dogs must be exported within 72 hours."
