Coles Myer Ltd directors met yesterday to weigh up the final bids for the group's 61 chain department store.
But the retailer has released no statement on the process and would only say that it is has received "a number of bids and is currently reviewing them".
A final decision on whether the store will be sold is expected to be made by the end of the month.
Myer is keeping open the option of retaining the business if a suitable price is not offered.
