Auckland International Buskers Festival
The 14th annual Auckland International Buskers Festival showcases some of the most spectacular street performers on earth.
This wildly successful, wacky and wonderful festival hits the streets of Auckland's Heart of the City over Anniversary Weekend 2014.
Buskers come from all over the world to perform their comedy, magic, outrageous acrobatics, mime, contortion, stunts and dance.
The festival runs from Friday 24 to Monday 27 January 2014. Day shows start daily at noon. Night shows are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 7.30pm in Market Square, Viaduct Harbour.
Zip on your best clapping hands, firm up your stomping boots and dive down the back of the couch for a handful of loose change. Then make your way down to the city for the experience of a lifetime.

Auckland Seafood Festival
Auckland Seafood Festival is held annually over Auckland's Anniversary Weekend.
This 2013 festival was bigger and better than it has ever been before, and with its return to the vibrant Wynyard Quarter, the 2014 festival won't disappoint.

Ports of Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta
At least 17 different watersports clubs, the Royal New Zealand Navy and more, get together in locations all over Auckland to make the Ports of Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta happen - from stand-up paddleboarding, dragonboating and waka ama, to tugs and workboats, classic yachts, remote control yachts, sea scout cutters, and dinghies and skiffs of all flavours.
The first regatta was held on the day that Captain Hobson's officials raised the flag and made Auckland a city.
Now, 174 years later, it is New Zealand's oldest sporting event and one of the biggest one-day regattas in the world.

Stardome Auckland Anniversary Public Open Day
To celebrate Auckland Anniversary Weekend, Stardome will be opening their doors for the first Stardome public open day of summer with short planetarium shows every 15 minutes, solar telescope viewing and more.

Star Insurance Classic Bike Show
The Star Insurance Classic Bike Show features more than 300 bikes ranging from veteran through to off-road.
With free parking on site, event proceeds will be donated to National Burn Centre at Middlemore Hospital, which cares for most severely burn-injured patients from around the country.

St Jerome's Laneway Festival
St Jerome's Laneway Festival is back in 2014 with a huge ensemble of acts from your local neighbourhood and around the world.
