Andrew Little stepping down is not the resignation Winston Peters wants to discuss.
The New Zealand First leader would much rather examine the recent departure of Silver Fern Farms CEO Dean Hamilton.
Peters was determined not to mention the Labour Party's leadership change telling The Country's Dom George "I'm not here to talk about the Labour Party and their sixth leader in nine years."
Despite his vow to not discuss Labour, Mr Peters does begrudgingly give his opinion on the party's relationship with the Greens and whether he could work with new leader Jacinda Ardern - before turning his attention to Dean Hamilton's departure from Silver Fern Farms.
