It's the whole show in one go! Today on The Country it's all about heroes.
Unfortunately this means that we have to listen to 1990's greatest hits because on this day national hero Buck Shelford was axed from the All Blacks. Bring back Buck!
On with the show. First up we have one of Jamie's heroes; Sir Brian Lochore. He's also our Roving North Island Farming Ambassador. Today Sir Brian talks farming, footy, the fallout from Brexit and the Auckland housing crisis.
Next it's Steve Maharey. The Vice Chancellor of Massey University comments on Theresa May, Brexit and the plight of sharemilkers as we head into season three of the dairy downturn.
Then The Country catches up with Barbara Kuriger. The MP for Taranaki King Country reflects on 1990, the housing crisis, the state of the dairy industry and the FMG Young Farmers Grand Final.
Who is Hunter Morrow? He's an 18-year-old Wanaka apprentice builder who's the best duck caller in the country, for the second consecutive year!
Finally Jamie chats to the National Sales Manager at Volkswagen, Rodney Gillard.
Volkswagen is The Country's vehicle partner but Dom and Jamie aren't the only great athletes they work with; they've also partnered up with New Zealand's Rio-bound Olympic team!
