The Crusaders will wear West Coast rugby jerseys for their opening home match of next year's Super 15 in tribute to those affected by the Pike River Mine disaster.
Each of the 22 special edition jerseys, for the Waratahs match on March 4, will be auctioned on Trade Me for the Pike Rive Mine mayoral fund.
The Crusaders' nine All Blacks who took part in the recent Grand Slam tour will also visit the West Coast community early next year.
Richie McCaw, Dan Carter, Sonny Bill Williams, Brad Thorn, Owen Franks, Sam Whitelock, Kieran Read, Andy Ellis and Ben Franks will visit Hokitika and Greymouth on Wednesday, February 2.
