He has slightly more hair but the same unmistakeable grin, as a 23-year-old John Key stares happily at the camera with his blushing bride.
The National Party has shared a photo of John Key and wife Bronagh on their 1984 wedding day to celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary.
Key, now 55, sits on a park bench, while his wife sits on the seat in her white wedding dress, holding a bouquet.
The picture is alongside a more recent one of the couple holding hands.
The Twitter comment read: "Happy 32nd wedding anniversary to Prime Minister @johnkeypm and his wife Bronagh."
The couple met through Bronagh Key's friend Jenny. The future Prime Minister was tutoring Jenny's sister in economics.
They went to Burnside High School in Christchurch but there was two years between them.
They have two children, Stephie and Max.
