Aucklanders jammed inner-city streets this afternoon for the 76th annual Santa Parade.
The event involved 4,000 people, 300 costumes and over 40 floats.
This year's parade, in association with the Herald and sponsored by Farmers, included dozens of new floats - as well as some of the old favourites, including the Buzzy Bee float.
The weather held out for parade organisers: the forecast was for scattered showers, clearing as the afternoon goes on.
