A Bay of Plenty woman had to be cut from her vehicle after plunging down a 15 metre bank while reversing out her driveway.
The TrustPower TECT rescue helicopter was called to the woman's address in Opotiki, in eastern Bay of Plenty, about midday.
The vehicle landed upside down in a drain and the woman suffered sternum and shoulder injuries, rescue helicopter spokesman Liam Brettkelly said.
She was flown to Whakatane Hospital in a moderate condition, he said.
