Social Development Minister Paula Bennett's house was burgled at the weekend.
Ms Bennett issued a press release today about the burglary at her Waitakere, West Auckland, home during which a laptop and camera were taken. Other easily accessible items were left.
"There was no sensitive information on the laptop, although obviously I am concerned at this invasion of my privacy," she said.
"The police are investigating it, so I will be making no further comment."
Nobody was at home at the time of the burglary.
