OMI joins the long list of international performers to cancel their trips to New Zealand.
The Cheerleader hitmaker has pulled the plug on his Auckland show, which was scheduled for July 1, due to "unforeseen circumstances".
OMI, real name Omar Samuel Pasley, shot to fame with his earworm track Cheerleader, which was followed up by the equally catchy Hula Hoop.
Fans that had their hearts set on seeing the Jamaican pop singer live will be able to get a full refund at The Ticket Fairy.
Other artists to cancel New Zealand concerts this year include: Noel Gallagher who scrapped his sold out show after his guitars got held up in Chile; Cat Power, who ditched two sold out shows after falling ill; and rapper The Game, who was a no-show at the Raggamuffin music festival after confusing Australia for New Zealand.
