A Game of Thrones star has revealed her idea of the perfect ending to the series: close-up shots of "all the boys' penises".
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, has declared it would the perfect ending to the show because of the apparent gender disparities in its treatment of nudity.
"I want to see Daenerys and her three dragons share the throne," Clarke told Glamour magazine.
"Eat goat they've barbecued. And bring back all the pretty boys, get them to take their trousers down, and be like, 'I'm now the queen of everything! I'd like close-ups of all the boys' penises, please.'"
The show, which is set to enter its sixth season, appears to favour female nudity over male nudity. One of the new actors appearing this season, Ian McShane, went so far as to call it a show about "tits and dragons".
Yet despite the apparent disparities, it is a series with a significant female fan base and Clarke believes this is because, "the story lines are fascinating depictions of the struggle for power. And women are in on that conversation!"
She did admit, however, the show had made a move to balance the scales in recent seasons.

Clarke fondly recalled a memorable sex scene between the mother of dragons and Daario (Michiel Huisman), telling Glamour the scene "began with me saying, 'Take off your clothes,' and then you got to see his perfect bottom."
The highly anticipated sixth season will hit New Zealand screens on April 25.
