Against a scarcity backdrop for large footprint industrial properties in Auckland, a modern warehouse and office facility has become available for sub-lease in the popular Mangere Airport corridor area.
"The units at at 81A and 81B Westney Road are available separately or together," says Claus Brewer of CBRE who, with colleagueScott Soroka, has the sole agency to lease them.
"This is the largest A-grade industrial facility available for occupation in May in Auckland," Brewer says.
"It has a total warehouse and canopy area of up to 17,422sq m, up to 1535sq m of office space and a high stud of 9.8 metres rising to 14.2 metres."
The complex was constructed in 2014 and has considerable exposure to busy George Bolt Memorial Drive.
"With a total yard area of 5549sq m, the property has good truck turnaround and container storage space, plus a combi-lift working area," says Brewer, who is national director of industrial and logistics for CBRE.
He says high quality, large facilities that are available and ready for occupation now are exceptionally rare.
