SYDNEY: Infratil, a New Zealand-based investor in airports and power companies, says its Australian unit may register to participate in energy asset sales planned by the state Government of New South Wales.
Infratil Energy Australia expects to lodge its interest by November 18.
The viability of entering the market is unclear because of depressed retail prices and the liquidity of the wholesale market, Infratil said.
