Zintel Group said its result for the six months to September 30 is likely to be as much as 30 per cent down on last year.
This was after non-recurring costs and expenses in the company's new payments business, the company said.
"This is not as bad as it sounds as the first half last year was much stronger than the second half, and consolidated group numbers are tracking close to internal budgets," chairman Nick Gordon said.
The company reported a $3.42 million profit before tax in the year to March 31, 2009.
