The Securities Commission is highlighting areas of concern in financial reporting after reviewing financial statements of 24 issuers.
The regular review by the regulator of investments comes at a time when the New Zealand Shareholders' Association has been asking companies for more information on debt, including bank covenants.
The commission also highlights the reporting of debt as a significant matter.
