A viral comedy Facebook page have shared a sick 'Grenfell Tower' meme.
The image shows the burnt-out tower block in London, after it was devastated by an inferno last month, with a flame on its roof with the caption "Grenfell Tower memorial candle £4.99".
It was posted by the Hallmark for A******s page on Facebook and was shared hundreds of times - with one user describing it as "funny as f***" and another saying it is "still funnier than hell".
But it faced a huge backlash from people on the post, with many asking the page to remove it, the Daily Mail reports.
One woman wrote: "I'm not certain if this is too far too soon or just plain hysterical... I'm saving for possible future use though just in case."
Another said: "You are all a bunch of f***ing scumbags. How the f*** can you think people burning alive in a fire is actually funny."
But the person who posted the image refused to remove it, insisting it's "humorous", according to the Daily Mirror.
They replied: "Sorry to hear that, it will pass. Maybe this isn't the right page for you.
"You can unfollow us, if you are... or block us if you aren't, and you won't see any more of this, but I WILL be posting more of it for the people who see the humor (sic) in it. Godspeed."
Yesterday, it emerged that 80 people had been confirmed dead in the tragedy.
Hundreds have been left homeless as a result of the disaster, while the bodies of those killed may never be identified because of sheer intensity of the blaze, which left the tower block a charred, hollowed out shell.
The image, which has also appeared on Imgur and Sickipedia, appears to have been removed, but it is not clear whether Facebook or the page took it down.
MailOnline has contacted Facebook for comment.
