It's the largest gathering of farm machinery equipment and activity in Northland - and one of the largest in the country - and from today thousand will descend on Dargaville for the annual Northland Field Days.

The Field Days run from today to Saturday at the Dargaville showgrounds at the corner of Awakino Point East Rd and State Highway 14, Dargaville.

Security officer Jay Taylor patrols the Northland Field Days site at Dargaville and will continue to from the event opening today until everyone has packed up and left at the end of the three days.
