Thousands of punters have headed to Dargaville to enjoy the biggest agricultural event in Northland.

The Northland Field Days, held at the Dargaville Showgrounds at the corner of Awakino Point East Rd and State Highway 14, ran across three days starting last Thursday and ending on Saturday.

Northern Advocate photographer John Stone headed to the event on Friday to check it out.
