AgResearch's principal scientist talks about the development of a new generation, genetically modified ryegrass that could prove a game-changer for agriculture. Reduced greenhouse gas emissions, greater tolerance to drought and faster/better growth are features to date of this new generation grass now in full field trial mode in the United States.
