The continuing shortage of cattle was reflected in the prices paid at Stortford Lodge.

The continuing shortage of cattle was reflected in the prices paid at Stortford Lodge.

All classes of stock sold strongly at yesterday's store sale at Stortford Lodge. The continuing shortage of cattle was reflected in the prices paid for the small yarding of about 250 head which was mostly of good quality.

Store lambs and good ewes with terminal lambs at foot also sold well to a small bench of buyers from around Hawke's Bay, Waikato and Wairarapa.
