Police search and rescue teams, LandSar and drones are continuing the search for a Southland man who has been missing for nearly four weeks.

Kevin Belling, 62, was reported missing on January 18 after last being seen at his Motu Rimu farm on January 9.

He has not been heard from since.

Police Search and Rescue and LandSar teams have carried out extensive searches across the area.

Last Saturday, efforts focused on Belling’s Caesar Rd property in Kapuka, involving search teams and a drone.

Detective Sergeant John Kean said police and Belling’s loved ones hold serious concerns for his welfare.

“It is very unusual for Kevin not to be in contact with anyone for this long,” Kean said.

He urged members of the public to remain vigilant and to check rural properties for any sign of Belling.
