Dairy Women's Network convenors for Eastern and Western Bay of Plenty, Belinda Spratt and Jody Malcom have organised a seminar called To be healthy as a whole, wellness plays a role.
They say it's going to be a fantastic day and a time to get together. The day begins next Wednesday at 10.30am with a morning tea, provided by Te Puke branch of Rural Women.
It is open to not only dairy farming women. The idea is to bring people together.
Organisers encourage everyone to attend - from farmers, orchardists, lifestylers, any industries/business and the public. Men will be warmly welcome.
Some speakers have been lined up.
Rebecca Leith, a registered clinical psychologist, will be covering how our minds are wired and what we need to do to activate the 'feel good' within us.
