A reunion for Romney stud breeders and stud stock agents will be held in Gore in August.
It was initially the idea of Ken Bain, now retired at Millers Flat, who thought a get-together should be held.
Then he talked to retired agent Murray Sheppard, who suggested stud stock agents
should be included.
There had been a lot of interest in the reunion and the organisers were now trying to reach as many people as possible.
The reunion, based at the Croydon Lodge in Gore, will be held on August 7 and 8. It will include a bus tour visiting the Grant brothers' large-scale commercial Romney operation, Hamish and Miriam MacKay's Braebank stud and Blair and Sally Robertson's Merrydowns stud.
