Professor Jacqueline Rowarth is usually a Waikato University Professor of Agri-business but she has been headhunted by the Environmental Protection Authority. She's looking forward to her new role of "looking at the facts evidence and data and helping with the explanation".

These skills will definitely come in handy when applied to the recent furore surrounding the source of the water contamination in Havelock North. She definitely doesn't mince words when it comes to those pointing the finger at industrial agriculture.
