He talks about getting ready for the main event, which is next month in Masterton.

The selection of the Shearing Sports New Zealand team for the 2026 Golden Shears World Shearing and Woolhandling Championships next month has been completed.

Smith sealed his place on the team after winning the shearing showdown at the Rangitikei Shearing Sports North Island Championships on Saturday.
