Mike Lord has more land under sea level than any other farmer in New Zealand.

Unfortunately for the Taieri Plains dairy farmer this means most of his land is currently under water.

Lord gave The Country's Jamie Mackay an update on the state of his farm and how Henley, the Taieri Plains and other areas in Otago are faring after the recent deluge.

Federated Farmers Vice President Andrew Hoggard also spoke to The Country about wet and challenging conditions in the central North Island where some people have been without power for 10 days following the snow dump.
