The Country Early Edition's Dom George caught up with Michele Connell today for a chat about her business Off The Beaten Track.
Michele describes Off The Beaten Track as "an Airbnb for landowners and holiday makers". The purpose of the company is to connect lovers of the great outdoors with undiscovered locations and experiences from those with privately owned land.
Inspired by an episode of Country Calendar dairy farmer Michele and her husband Roy decided to set up Off The Beaten Track as an extra earner to help them out when dairying got tough.
The company has only been running for 3 weeks at the time of this interview but interest is already strong and Michele reckons their new venture has the potential to go global.
