DairyNZ's Farmers' Forum event is returning to Mystery Creek on May 8th and 9th this year and there is an exciting list of guest speakers.

DairyNZ CEO Dr Tim Mackle spoke to The Country Early Edition's Rowena Duncum about the event, saying it boasts a "great lineup."

Minister for Agriculture Damien O'Connor, Climate Change Minister James Shaw and Economist Cameron Bagrie will be speaking, along with dairy company heads, Stephen Allen (Tatua), Steve Koekemoer (Open Country Dairy), Richard Wyeth (Miraka) and Fonterra Chairman John Wilson.

Mental health campaigner Mike King will also be speaking, along with Futurist Julian Cribb who will look into the future of food.

The forum will explore how the industry is to achieve the new dairy sector strategic vision "Dairy Tomorrow", launched in November last year.
