Jeff Fox's shed where he makes hand-made propellers will be part of the Levin Rotary Man Cave Tour fundraiser for Arohanui Hospice.

Have you ever wondered what goes on in the many sheds, garages, workshops and 'man caves' around the district?

Now you can find out, as Levin Rotary's popular Cave Tour is giving every bloke, and 'bloke-ess' the chance to sneak a peek at the creative habits and hobbies people carry out in their private sanctuaries.

It's also a great opportunity to check out the tools of their trade and maybe learn some new techniques along the way.

With 20 super-sheds, garages extraordinaire and commercial and hobby-related sites to explore, including Jeff Fox's shed where he makes hand-made propellers (above), fine furniture produced by Charles Bagnall and a 40-year-old dragster lovingly cared for by Jocelyn and Alex Hogg, there is something for everyone.

The fundraiser for Arohanui Hospice costs $25 per ticket/map, available from Paper Plus, New World, Write Price and Pit Stop in Levin, and at the De Molen windmill or MAVtech movie theatre in Foxton.
