A good crowd gathered for a good yarding of stock.

Sheep - ewes $50 - $70, fat lambs $70 -$73, store lambs $43 - $54, M/A rams $53.

Cattle - nurse cow with three calves $2000, yearling steers $680 - $720, weaner Friesian bulls $470 - $500, weaner beef heifers $360 - $690, smaller cross-bred heifers $250 - $270.

January 18 was a repeat of last week's sale with another large yarding of weaners and service bulls returning.

Three-year Hereford bulls 875 kg made $2000 ($2.29).

Two-year white face steers 430 kg made $1180 ($2.74) and Friesian steers 390 kg - 445 kg made up to $1140 ($2.18 - $2.56).

Angus cross steers 345 kg made $905 ($2.62) and cross breed steers 322 kg - 457 kg made up to $1245 ($2.33 - $2.72).

Two-year Hereford bulls 542 kg - 607 kg made up to $1660 ($2.52 - $3.02). Friesian bulls 444 kg - 538 kg made up to $1440 ($2.48 - $2.68) and Jersey bulls 392 kg - 636 kg made up to $1350 ($2.03 - $2.33).

Cross breed bulls 475 kg - 490 kg made up to $1260 ($2.53 - $2.57) and Beef Short Horn bulls 491 kg made $1340 ($2.73).

Two-year white face heifers 425 kg made $1070 ($2.52) and Angus cross 472 kg made $1260 ($2.67). Cross breed heifers 380 kg - 510 kg made up to $1300 ($2.28 - $2.55).

Eighteen-month white face heifers 334 kg - 387 kg made up to $1110 ($2.87 - $2.93).

Yearling white face steers 357 kg made $1085 ($3.03).

Yearling Hereford bulls 455 kg - 484 kg made up to $2250 ($3.87 - $4.78) and Jersey bulls 312 kg - 392 kg made up to $875 ($2.20 - $2.29).

Yearling white face heifers 310 kg made $860 ($2.77) and cross breed heifers 245 kg made $500 ($2.04).

Autumn born Friesian bulls 170 kg - 290 kg made up to $650 ($2.24 - $3.02) and beef cross bulls 155 kg - 245 kg made up to $660 ($2.69 - $3.10).

Weaner white face steers 96 kg - 120 kg made up to $570 ($3.84 - $4.83) and cross breed steers 120 kg made $430 ($3.91).

Weaner Friesian bulls 107 kg - 115 kg made up to $450 ($3.26 - $3.91) and cross breed bulls 115 kg - 144 kg made up to $415 ($2.87 - $3.61).

White face bulls 130 kg - 133 kg made up to $570 ($3.08 - $4.29) and Angus cross bulls 100 kg - 119 kg made up to $535 ($4.50 - $4.68). Galloway bulls 193 kg made $540 ($2.79).

Weaner white face heifers 92 kg - 120 kg made up to $515 ($4.17 - $4.54) and Angus cross heifers 111 kg - 185 kg made up to $560 ($3.03 - $4.43).

Beef cows with a calf at foot made $1070.

Friesian boner cows 552 kg - 629 kg made up to $1060 ($1.65 - $1.68) and cross breed cows 512 kg - 519 kg made up to $890 ($1.64 - $1.71). Jersey boners 320 kg made $540 ($1.68).

Weaner pigs made $90. Two tooth ewes made $90 and ma ewes made $45 - $57. Mixed sex lambs made $61 - $78.
