Barry Soper wraps the week in politics with The Country's Jamie Mackay, including the horror in Nice today.

Theresa May is the new British Prime Minister that no one saw coming. Soper marvels at the rapid changes happening in the UK including Boris Johnson's appointment as Foreign Secretary.

Johnson's bumbling comments about Hillary Clinton could cause issues if she becomes president. However Soper worries if Trump takes power there will be bad hair days on both sides of the Atlantic.

Back to politics at home, Soper ponders US vice-president Joe Biden's visit and what is John Key up to with his chilled meat to China comments?
